All prices quoted are in South African Rand (ZAR).
Quotes & confirmation
The price quoted is valid for 30 days or until the nominated date. The tour is only confirmed once full payment has been received by the specified date — the tour shall not proceed without it.
Timing
Please allow enough time before departure for breakfast and other formalities. Remember that your tour includes travel time back to your accommodation, so you may need to leave 1–2 hours before your last site visit to avoid a surcharge.
After-hours drop-off surcharge
17h00 – 18h00: R500,00 · 18h00 – 19h00: R700,00 · 19h00 – 22h00: R1000,00. There is no service after 22h00 unless by prior arrangement.
Motion sickness
Some guests are affected by motion sickness in the vehicle — especially on winding coastal or mountain-pass roads — or on board boats, kayaks and other vessels. Please take the necessary precautions.
Not permitted
No drones, Chinese lanterns or balloon releases are allowed on our tours.

Your private and other information is kept confidential as per the Protection of Personal Information Act of South Africa, 2013 (POPIA).

Terms & Conditions
General
- 01The private and other information of our guests will be kept confidential as per the Protection of Personal Information Act of South Africa, 2013.
- 02Please allow enough time before departure for breakfast and other formalities. The tour times will be as per the agreed itinerary.
- 03Even though there may be an agreed itinerary, should you wish to change this, please be advised that the new itinerary may incur an extra cost, depending on additional time, activities and distance.
- 04Some guests are affected by motion sickness in the vehicle, especially on the winding roads along the coastal drives or mountain passes. Please take the necessary precautions.
- 05Some guests are affected by motion sickness on board boats, kayaks, other vessels or aircraft. Please take the necessary precautions.
- 06Your guide will advise you on the best way to make the most of your time.
- 07Please remember that the tour will include the travel time back to your accommodation, so you may have to leave between 1 hour or 2 hours from the last site you are visiting, in order to avoid a surcharge.
- 08No drones, Chinese Lanterns or balloon releases are allowed.
- 09Tusk Adventures and Tours reserves the right to cancel or amend the itinerary and route due to unfavourable weather conditions, road works, emergencies or other unfortunate incidents.
- 10We are fully insured, however, you are required to obey the safety instructions of the guide.
- 11Confirmation of services will only be processed upon the final receipt of payment.
Fees
- 01The price quoted will be in South African Rand (ZAR).
- 02Unless otherwise stated, the price quoted will exclude any Cable Car, South African National Park, Wine Tasting, Robben Island or other fees; lunch or gratuities.
- 03The price quoted will be valid for 30 days or until the nominated date.
- 04Final confirmation of the tour will only be processed upon receipt of the full payment for the requested service, by the specified date.
- 05The tour shall not proceed unless the full payment is received.
- 06Should you request a drop off after 17h00, a surcharge will apply. This surcharge will be priced at: any time between 17h00 and 18h00 = R500,00; any time between 18h00 and 19h00 = R700,00; any time between 19h00 and 22h00 = R1000,00. There shall be no service after 22h00 unless by prior arrangement.
- 07Tusk Adventures and Tours (PTY) LTD, their directors, employees, agents and associates shall not be responsible for, and shall be exempt from any liability in respect of any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or inconvenience to any person or their luggage or other personal property.
- 08Tusk Adventures and Tours (PTY) LTD, their directors, employees, agents and associates shall not be responsible for, and shall be exempt from any liability in respect of cancellations or delays by third parties and cases where the accommodation is deemed to be unsatisfactory for whatever reasons.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations will only be entertained when done via email by the person/entity who originally booked the tour. The client accepts the fact that the below cancellation terms are reasonable and fair. Tusk Adventures and Tours PTY (LTD) shall be at liberty in its discretion to charge a cancellation fee, or any percentage thereof, at:
- 5% of the tariff — on all cancellations, as an administration fee
- 25% of the tariff — when cancellations are made within 30 days prior to the departure date
- 50% of the tariff — when cancellations are made within 14 days prior to the departure date
- 75% of the tariff — when cancellations are made within 7 days prior to the departure date
- 100% of the tariff — when cancellations are made within 6 days prior to the departure date
Refunds will be done within 30 days. Where Tusk Adventures and Tours PTY (LTD) has already paid third party suppliers, these amounts shall not be refundable.
Taking into account the above terms and conditions, please make sure that you have considered all your criteria when making the final payment for your tour.
